The GAME.minder Interview #6 - Susan Gold, Global Game Jam

If you love playing games, it’s probably a fair bet you’ve thought about making your own game. Maybe you were driven to rewrite the rules of your favorite playground game as a kid, or maybe you take this drive and make a career out of it. Either way, fostering this creative drive in a communal way is what Global Game Jam is all about. Founded in 2008 and inspired by Other Game Jam events like Indie Game Jam and Ludum Dare, Global Game Jam was the brainchild of our guest today, Susan Gold. Over 16,000 people created more than 3000 games over the weekend of January 25th-27th and we thought we'd catch up with Susan to learn more.
